Kai Nakano Rasmussen is a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His focus is bold comic art and bright color digital media. His influences are Yayoi Kusama, Ralph Lauren, Roy Lichtenstein, Raf Simons, Rei Kawakubo, and Alexander Wang.  In addition to his interest in fashion design, Kai is an undergraduate molecular biology researcher and graphic designer for the NASA Gilroy Lab at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  He is inspired by the emerging discipline of astrobotany and illustrates science figures.
